November 2026 Astrological Forecast

This November unfinished things are harder to ignore. As the evenings draw in, the year begins to feel a little shorter, we notice what we have been putting off: a conversation, a decision, perhaps a promise we made to ourselves months ago.

This November’s astrology gives those unfinished matters plenty of attention. The month begins with Mercury retrograde in Scorpio and Venus retrograde in Libra. Questions about trust, relationships, money and fairness may still be under discussion. As both planets turn direct on the 15th of November, there is room to start making decisions with a better understanding of what is involved.

That does not mean we need to have everything settled by December. Some of the most useful progress this month may be quite ordinary: getting a straight answer, agreeing on a boundary, revising a plan or admitting that our preferences have changed.

The following is an astrological interpretation of November’s transits. Dates follow UK time.

Early November: The conversations we still need to have

Mercury retrograde in Scorpio lends itself to looking closely at matters we would usually prefer to keep brief. A discussion about money may reveal a question of trust. An apparently minor disagreement may expose resentment that has been sitting quietly beneath the surface.

There is value in being thorough, although Scorpio’s determination to understand can become a determination to prove a suspicion. Before drawing conclusions, check what you actually know.

On 4 November, Mercury meets the Sun in Scorpio, while Venus in Libra forms a sextile with Jupiter in Leo. These are useful symbols for a moment of understanding alongside a more generous approach to other people. Venus also forms a sextile with Mars on 10 November, adding another opportunity for cooperation.

A difficult conversation may go better when we stop rehearsing our defence and listen to the answer. Equally, generosity needs to include ourselves. Keeping a relationship pleasant by agreeing to everything rarely produces lasting peace.

With Venus still retrograde, familiar people, preferences or creative interests may draw our attention. Enjoy the recognition, but give yourself time to see whether something belongs in your present life. Missing an experience and wanting to repeat it are different feelings.

9 November: A New Moon in Scorpio

The New Moon on 9 November falls at 17° Scorpio. It arrives while Mercury and Venus are still retrograde, giving this beginning a thoughtful, private quality.

Scorpio concerns the places where we become invested: emotionally, financially and sometimes beyond what we intended. This New Moon offers a useful moment to consider the agreements that hold those investments together.

Are shared responsibilities genuinely shared? Can you ask a direct question without fearing the response? Are you continuing to give time or money because you want to, or because withdrawing feels uncomfortable?

You do not need a dramatic gesture to mark this lunation. Looking honestly at an account, arranging a private conversation or deciding what you are ready to disclose may be enough.

Those with planets or important chart angles close to 17° Taurus, Leo, Scorpio or Aquarius (13-22°) may find its themes particularly personal.

13–14 November: Decisions begin to feel more possible

Mercury stations to go direct on 13 November at approximately 5° Scorpio. Venus follows just after midnight on 14 November at approximately 23° Libra.

In astrological terms, these stations mark a change of direction in two closely connected areas: how we understand a situation, and what we want from it.

Correspondence may become easier to resolve. A negotiation can be revisited with clearer terms. Relationship questions may feel less tangled once we stop trying to satisfy several incompatible wishes at once.

Still, a planet turning direct is a gradual transition. Allow time for people to follow through on what they say. If an agreement has changed repeatedly, confirm the details before treating it as settled.

Venus in Libra places particular emphasis on reciprocity. Affection matters, but so do consideration, reliability and the practical arrangements that allow a relationship to work. The same applies to professional partnerships: goodwill benefits from a clear agreement.

Mid-November: Confidence needs somewhere useful to go

On 16 November, Mars and Jupiter meet at approximately 26° Leo. The Sun then squares Jupiter on 18 November and Mars on 19 November.

Mars brings initiative; Jupiter enlarges whatever it encounters. In Leo, their conjunction can be expressive, ambitious and eager to participate. A creative project may suddenly seem worth showing people. You might feel more willing to promote your work, make an invitation or take a chance that previously felt intimidating.

For anyone who has spent weeks revising, this could feel welcome.

The difficulty is judging scale. Enthusiasm can make a manageable project grow into an expensive undertaking. Confidence can become an assumption that other people will agree. Under the Sun’s squares, pride may also make an ordinary disagreement unnecessarily personal.

Choose something that deserves your energy and give it a realistic scope. Before committing, look at the cost, the time required and the responsibilities you already have.

This period may feel especially noticeable for people with placements around 25–28° of the fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.

Late November: New information changes the discussion

The Sun enters Sagittarius on 22 November, broadening the focus towards learning, travel, beliefs and future plans. Then, on 24 November, the Full Moon falls at 2° Gemini, close to Uranus in early Gemini.

This is a lively, potentially distracting combination. Gemini wants information; Uranus introduces surprise and a willingness to question familiar explanations.

A message, announcement or unexpected conversation may change how you understand a situation. Plans involving travel, study, publishing or communication may need adjusting. There can also be excitement in discovering an alternative you had never considered.

Give yourself a little space between receiving information and responding to it. Something can be surprising without being urgent. Check the source, read the whole message and ask a follow-up question.

The Sun’s opposition to Uranus on 25 November reinforces the need for flexibility. People with placements in the first few degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces may feel particularly ready for a change or particularly aware of where their freedom feels restricted.

The month ends with practical work to do

Mars enters Virgo late on 25 November, shifting the emphasis towards organisation, maintenance and the details that make an idea workable. Uranus forms an exact trine with Pluto on 29 November, while the Sun trines Saturn on 30 November.

Mars in Virgo can help with editing, sorting, repairing and establishing a more workable routine. Its challenge is knowing when an improvement is sufficient. Spending an afternoon correcting something useful is one thing; repeatedly revising it because it might be criticised is another.

The Uranus–Pluto trine belongs to a longer cycle associated, astrologically, with changes in technology, networks and collective structures. On a personal level, it offers a useful prompt to reconsider a method you have outgrown.

By the final days of November, there is support for giving a promising change some structure. Put the appointment in the diary. Write down the terms. Work out what the first stage will cost. A decision becomes much more useful when it has a practical next step.

November for each sign

Read your rising sign first for the areas of life highlighted, then your Sun sign for an additional perspective. Read your Moon if you are born at night. These brief readings use whole-sign houses; your individual birth chart adds further detail.

♈ Aries

Shared money, trust and financial responsibilities deserve careful attention early in November. Venus turning direct in your partnership sector can help you understand what you need from a relationship or collaboration. Mid-month brings enthusiasm for romance, children or creative work, although spending and promises need sensible limits. The Gemini Full Moon may bring a significant conversation, news or a change to local travel plans.

♉ Taurus

Relationships receive considerable attention, especially around the Scorpio New Moon. Consider whether your agreements reflect what both people need now. Work arrangements and daily routines may become easier to resolve after Venus turns direct. At home, mid-month enthusiasm could inspire a project, but check the budget before expanding it. The Full Moon highlights income, spending and what you consider worth paying for.

♊ Gemini

November asks you to examine how your days actually work. Workloads, unfinished tasks and everyday habits may need adjustment before you can comfortably take on more. Venus turning direct can help you reconnect with creative pleasure or understand a romantic situation. The Full Moon in your sign brings your own needs into focus. Allow yourself to express a change of mind without rushing to explain every detail.

♋ Cancer

Creative interests, romance and your relationship with pleasure come forward this month. Something you once enjoyed may deserve another chance, particularly if it was abandoned through lack of time. Home and family questions may become easier to discuss after mid-month. Mars and Jupiter can increase your motivation to earn, alongside your appetite to spend. Around the Full Moon, protect some quiet time to process a busy few weeks.

♌ Leo

Home, family and your private foundations are central to November’s opening weeks. A domestic decision may need revisiting before you know what feels right. Mars meeting Jupiter in your sign brings considerable drive and visibility, but you will benefit from choosing your commitments carefully. The Full Moon highlights friendships and group projects. Notice which connections allow you to contribute without having to carry the whole occasion.

♍ Virgo

An unfinished conversation, writing project or administrative matter may occupy the first half of the month. Mercury turning direct helps you begin sorting out the details, while Venus brings attention to income and spending. The Full Moon can draw attention to your work, reputation or professional direction. With Mars entering your sign late in November, motivation increases; give it a clear priority so that everything does not become urgent.

♎ Libra

Venus turns direct in your sign, marking a useful point in a longer reconsideration of relationships, personal preferences and self-presentation. Financial questions also need attention: consider what your time and work are worth before agreeing to another obligation. Friends and collaborative projects may become lively mid-month. The Full Moon could bring news about study, travel or publishing, or encourage you to question a belief you have accepted for years.

♏ Scorpio

The New Moon in your sign makes November a personal month for reconsidering your direction and how you communicate it. Mercury’s direct station can help you put an experience into words or return to an important discussion. Career activity may accelerate around mid-month, although expectations need managing. The Full Moon brings shared finances, debts or emotional obligations into focus. Ask for the details you need before making a commitment.

♐ Sagittarius

Early November may suit preparation, private reflection and completing work behind the scenes. Social questions can become clearer as Venus turns direct, helping you recognise where you feel comfortable and appreciated. Mars and Jupiter encourage plans involving learning, travel or publishing, but leave room for practical constraints. Once your season begins, attention shifts towards your own direction. The Full Moon highlights a partnership and the need to hear another person clearly.

♑ Capricorn

Friendships, professional networks and longer-term goals are being reconsidered. You may discover that a shared ambition needs a clearer division of responsibilities. Venus turning direct can help a career discussion or public project progress. Mid-month calls for care with joint spending and financial commitments. The Gemini Full Moon highlights workload and everyday routines, offering a chance to notice where your schedule needs more flexibility.

♒ Aquarius

Career plans and your public role deserve a fresh look this month. An earlier discussion may resume with information that helps you decide what you want next. Relationships become more animated around the Mars–Jupiter conjunction: collaboration can be productive, provided both people have room to contribute. The Full Moon highlights creativity, romance and enjoyment. Make space for an interest that matters to you even if it has no practical purpose.

♓ Pisces

Study, travel, publishing and questions about your future direction may need some revision before they can progress. Venus turning direct helps you examine shared financial arrangements with greater clarity. Work can become demanding mid-month, so assess your capacity before volunteering for more. The Full Moon brings home and family matters into focus, while Mars entering Virgo makes clear communication increasingly important in partnerships.

November leaves us with plenty to consider, but there is also room to enjoy it: a conversation that finally feels easy, renewed interest in a project, an evening spent with people whose company asks little effort. We do not have to turn every realisation into a major decision. Sometimes understanding what we want is enough to begin with.
